Beat_Wave is a rhythm game featuring a 6 song OST, a story, custom track maker, and custom colors.

---Story---

     Featuring 6 tracks, the game's story takes place as you find a mysterious terminal-like machine drifting in space. Curious, you bring it on board your ship and flip it on to discover a game, Beat_Wave. Featuring a 6 song original soundtrack, play to discover the story of a conflicted entity. The story can be accessed through any of the Official songs in the 'Play' menu, by ensuring the 'story' button is toggled on.

---Track Maker---

     The track maker allows you to add in your own audio, and easily map the beats to the game, with an in-game help menu. Once you're all done, the game stores audio, beats, and images all in one JSON file, allowing you to easily share your tracks with friends! These custom tracks act the same as the official tracks, and are accessed in the 'Play' menu, under 'Unofficial songs'.

---Gameplay---

     Beat_Wave's gameplay is simple, and familiar to players familiar with the rhythm genre. As the song begins, notes will move from the right to left, approaching your paddle. You must press one of three keys/inputs which are correlated to three rows, the top, middle, and bottom row. You input the key to that row when the note is as close to your paddle as possible, providing you with score. Chain enough of these together, and your multiplier increases. Multiplier, health, and note speed are all determined by difficulty selected in the menu, before the song begins. Each song and difficulty stores your high score separately. Achieve a perfect if you can.

---Controls---

     Use your mouse to move the paddle, or alternatively, switch to keyboard controls in the settings to use your 'up' and 'down' arrow keys to move the paddle. When notes get fast, you can use 'Note Repeat', which makes all of your row inputs the same for the row your paddle is currently on, however, this will lock to that row until you release.

Default Controls:

• Top row - 'A' key
• Middle row - 'S' key
• Bottom row - 'D' key
• Note Repeat - 'Left Shift' or 'Right click'

Controls are customizable. 

---Custom Colors---

     Beat_Wave allows you to choose your own colors, which is reflected in the UI, and along the songs you play. The tracks you play can reflect your colors sending visual pulses, waves, and flashes. Supports Hex codes, or just use the in-game sliders.
